Race to the Finnish line...

Intel and Nokia and the University of Oulu today officially opened the Intel and Nokia Joint Innovation Centre, their first joint research centre. The University of Oulu in Finland is an international scientific community known for high-quality research and education that provides experts for demanding tasks on both national and international level. The lab will focus on creating new and compelling Internet user experiences that leverage the rapidly increasing processing and graphics power of mobile devices. The first such research project looks to use graphical 3D technology to create "immersive mobile interfaces".
